Marking Key Locations on Your Vehicle

This step works best on a larger device, such as a tablet, if you have one available.

Once you’ve uploaded your image, you’ll be guided through a quick calibration process:

  1. Tap the centre of the front wheel
  2. Tap the centre of the rear wheel

These two points use your previously entered wheelbase to calibrate the measurement tool for your vehicle.

You’ll then be prompted to mark the following storage areas:

  • Front nose / bumper
  • Front cabin
  • Rear cabin
  • Boot or tray
  • Tow hitch

You can also add two optional, personalised storage locations, such as roof racks or a secondary boot area.

What You Need to Know

  • You can delete or reselect any point if needed — don’t worry if your placement isn’t perfect. In most cases, small inaccuracies won’t make a meaningful difference.
  • For each point you select, LoadMate will display the distance (in mm) from the rear axle:
    • Positions in front of the rear axle are shown as positive (+)
    • Positions behind the rear axle are shown as negative (–)
  • You can manually adjust any of these measurements if required.

Once all five mandatory locations are selected, a Save button will appear.

Tap Save, then hit Continue at the bottom of the screen when you're ready to move on.
