Managing Your Setup in LoadMate
LoadMate is designed to give you full control and flexibility as your towing setup evolves. Here are a few final tips to help you get the most out of your profile and manage changes with confidence.
🧾 One Profile = One Combination
Currently, LoadMate supports one vehicle + caravan combination per profile. If you have multiple rigs (e.g. different caravans or tow vehicles), you can still manage them by creating additional LoadMate accounts.
✅ Good news: Your Premium subscription is linked to your Apple/Google account, not your LoadMate login — so you won’t be charged again for additional profiles on the same device.
How to do it:
- Log out of your current LoadMate profile
- Create a new account for your second combination
- If prompted to pay again, select “Restore Subscription” at the bottom of the paywall screen
⚙️ Updating Vehicle or Caravan Specs
Need to adjust your tow vehicle’s GVM, towing capacity, or caravan specs?
No problem. You can update any compliance values or specifications at any time via the Setup icon.
🔄 Your towing profile will instantly recalculate based on the new figures.
📐 Editing Dimensions & Storage Locations
You can also go back and update the vehicle or caravan dimensions and the storage locations you selected during onboarding.
When changes are made:
- LoadMate will automatically flag any loads that are affected by the new layout
- A red refresh icon will appear on the load card
- Simply tap this icon to recalculate the load using the updated location and dimensions
🛠️ This makes it easy to keep your setup accurate without needing to re-enter all your loads.
